Gender at home and in society

This is the first of two First Takes on gender. The second focuses on Women and work  While there is some overlap on key issues, both between individual pages and these two categories,  students have tried to build on previous work and to bring new references and source materials to bear on these vital questions, which have seen some of the greatest changes in Canadian history.
